Birthday Baskets & Shells

I don't know anywhere else where people celebrate birthdays and their own special occasions by creating art and giving it away to others. To celebrate this year, I made and gifted children of my characters.

In Soquili, horses and familiars can have offspring, and horses grow through several stages of lineart. Uniquely, they start off in baskets if they are land-based creatures, and in shells if they are aquatic. Familiars are simpler; they have only one lineart that does not grow or change.

Breedings are one of my favorite things to color. You start with two completed pieces of art, and then you get to choose what traits pass on, effectively building a character from scratch using simulated genetic data.
